As hard as we work in the office, we also have a lot of fun. A unicorn is defined as ‘something that is highly desirable but difficult to find or obtain.’ In the context of a career or company, I define it as AdviceOne. I’ve had many years experiences in a variety of work environments and industries and none of them hold a candle to the culture AdviceOne has created. If you’ve ever thought to yourself, ‘I wish my company would be more like this’ or ‘I wish my company wasn’t like this,’ I am confident you wouldn’t have those questions here. They quickly proved to me that a healthy work environment can exist, and because of that, I’ve been able to grow personally and professionally in a very short amount of time. There is a genuine excitement every day to be able to contribute here and the energy throughout is palpable.

As a veteran, I take an extreme amount of pride in the core values that were instilled in me during Basic Military Training and throughout my time serving in the United States Air Force/Connecticut Air National Guard. I’ve held many civilian positions prior to joining the team at AdviceOne and can say this is truly the first organization that holds the same standards of excellence, integrity, and service before self that I experienced when serving my country. Everywhere I turn, someone is giving their all to their job in a way that inspires me to challenge myself the same way I felt inspired overseas.
